I worked with Toma a fair bit while we both lived in Anchorage, Alaska. She's an absolute delight to work with and we had a lot of fun together on all our shoots. Nothing was too crazy to try and it was often difficult to pick our favorite images from each session. Our Harlequin Romance series was one of my favorites. We had the benefit of the skill and talent of her friend Yulia, who is a professional body & face painter.

This was one of those sessions where all the pieces came together and today, all the pieces came together once more. I love the effect, the smoke (which I shot at an entirely different time) creates with this shot.
