The “summer” weather, changed our plans slightly…the weather was a great deal cooler than we had originally anticipated, but when you’re working on location…that’s what you have to plan for and prepare for.

When photographing couples, children and families I want an environment that they can interact with and be themselves in. So when planning a session with my clients I ask them where their favorite spots are. I’m looking for places that have meaning to them or their families, something I find creates more memorable images.

This isn’t about getting the session done in 15 minutes, this is about making sure my clients get images they love, and the right location is a huge part of that. Taking a couple to the park where they spent part of their first date brings back all the memories and emotions from that first date, without the nervousness that went with it. My clients get to relax and reminisce while we work together to create special images for them.
