The “summer” weather, changed our plans slightly…the weather was a great deal cooler than we had originally anticipated, but when you’re working on location…that’s what you have to plan for and prepare for.

I love going with clients out to sites that are special to them or unique sites to create images that just can’t be recreated in the studio. The Mukilteo Lighthouse is one of the most memorable spots for me as a child. I used to go there with my mom and brothers fairly regularly.

At the lighting workshop I attended we had the opportunity to brave the Pacific Northwest’s winter weather and create some unique images at the Mukilteo beach. Jake’s rugged good looks and rough jacket lent itself very well to the mariner theme.
