So, with my penchant for photographing wildlife at the zoos, I was amazed to discover I have a wildlife reserve with real wild animals right in my backyard. The Spencer Island park is just a few minutes from my house.

A nice walk with lots of wildlife and native plants to keep things interesting.

Today, I spotted a variety of birds, including three Blue Herons.
